Are tutor plans required to create a profile?
No. Tutors can create a private draft first. An active subscription with publication entitlement is required for an approved profile to become publicly discoverable.
Does Teachers Hub take commission from lessons?
No. Tutor subscriptions are paid to the platform. Tutors and families arrange lesson details and payments directly.
Does a paid plan guarantee student enquiries?
No. Plans provide different limits and visibility, but do not guarantee enquiries, students, lessons, income, or ratings.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes. An active tutor can select another available plan. The configured billing provider applies the change and the updated entitlement data follows the confirmed subscription event.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. Cancellation is scheduled through subscription management. Access continues until the provider confirms the relevant period end, and a scheduled cancellation can be resumed when supported.
What happens when a subscription expires?
Publication entitlement ends and the profile can become private. Tutor profile data is preserved; excess content is not deleted automatically.
Does a higher plan improve my reviews?
No. Community ratings and reviews remain independent of subscription level.
Do parents or students need a subscription?
No. Parents can browse, save tutors, rate eligible profiles, and contact tutors without a tutor subscription.
